Welcome to The Neighbourhood, the heart of our Gnarly Neighbours social enterprise. Here’s what’s on offer at our recently opened skate shop and coffee shop:
Free Skate Lessons:
- Mondays (Beginner Lessons 4 PM - 5 PM): Perfect for those just finding their feet on a skateboard. No booking required.
- Wednesdays (Intermediate Lessons 4 PM - 5 PM): Ready to take your skills to the next level? Join us and no booking needed.
- Saturdays: All skill lessons available. Please book via the "Saturday Lessons" tab.
- Big Kid Skate (16 & Over): Every second Wednesday, join other adults to enjoy an evening skate session.
Special Events:
- Gnarly Yard Sale Market: Set up in our skatepark, this market features stalls of pre-loved items, established sellers, and a live DJ—enjoy the atmosphere while you sip on delicious coffee from our shop.
Community Initiatives:
- Shred in the Stix: In collaboration with the local councils, we’re creating a skatepark series to bring more skate opportunities to regional and rural communities.
